Well I was looking through some of our pictures and I feel like I didn't get to publish some final adventures. We had so many and it was such a great time! We miss that summer!
This was August 3rd I believe, Switzerland's Independence day and Ruth's Birthday. We hiked up Gantrisch that day. It was a beautiful hike, unfortunately there were clouds covering the whole mountain! It was a cool feeling though as we sliced through the clouds to the top of the mountain. On the other side, we caught a glimpse of the mountain range as the clouds shortly encompassed our view shortly after. 
Later that night we went to Bern and celebrated Independence day/Ruth's birthday by watching fireworks at the top of a hill. It was a great time! We had all of the Kempa's family over for dinner that following Sunday night where I tried to make them brownies... not from a box!!! Brownies were what Ruth wanted for her birthday. I tried my best, but they didn't quite turn out like the box kind for sure. But they didn't really know the difference! It was a great time hiking and spending time with the Kempa family on this Switzerland Independence Day.
