Final Days and Friends

Well we went over to Germany to meet one of Brett's friends from his mission: Conrad. Him and his wife were very hospitable and showed us around the place. We went out to get gelato and I sat there while they spoke German. It is so fun watching Brett speak a different language! We later went to the market with them. They were a funny/little weird couple but we liked hanging out with them. They definitely did not want a picture with us, as you can tell, but we took one anyways. On our way back we had the opportunity to see France across the river and to be by the France door (so we count that we went there right?)

On our last Sunday there, Ruth invited a whole bunch of people from the ward that got to know us, over for a good-bye party. It was filled with yummy cakes, appetizers, and fun friends. We made a lot of friends there and learned from a lot of people. One of our favorite friends were the missionaries: Elder Wilde and Elder Layton. They were fun as we went with them to Sister Somer's house and hung out with them at FHE and church. We hope they continue to be such great characters and are grateful for their service. It was fun hanging out with kind of our own age! They came to our good-bye party and it was weird knowing that we probably will never see them or some of the others again. It was nice to feel loved and supported by so many though. We miss every one already!
